Many people make the mistake of thinking that they don’t need to contact a construction company until a location is already selected. Yet here at The Bailey Building Company, we prefer to be involved in the process as early as possible, so bring us in as soon as you can so that we can assist you with the following:

In this situation, you have hired our company to first design, and then build, your new home or office. We will first work with you to come up with a design that is mutually agreed upon and then our certified contractors will build the place we have designed together. We always make sure that we keep open communication between the designer and builder because it results in a greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
So how does this process work exactly? The very first thing you need is an idea. Think about what you want your new home or office to look like, and then communicate that vision with our designers. Our architects will then take your idea and design it the way you want it. Once it is finished, we will await your approval before getting to the planning and permitting process. Once that is all finished, the construction process begins and we build it for you!
If you already have a set of construction plans to work with, we are here to implement them for you. We offer two different types of payment plans: cost-plus, where you pay us a total percentage of the construction costs, or fixed-price. We offer a wide range of services, such as:
Cost Estimation: where we offer you timely, accurate, and reliable information using our expert knowledge of market conditions and hard bid project costs
Low Sub-Contractor Bids: 90% of all work is competitively bid to ensure the lowest costs without sacrificing quality
Cost Management: where we help you on all cost-related areas of construction projects
Project Timing: where we offer you comprehensive schedules, updated monthly, with an approach to sharing of cost savings that’s 50%
General Contracting: where we help in all general aspects of the construction process
Under general conditions, we offer you a site superintendent, a job site trailer, a computer with wi-fi accessibility, a temporary sanitation facility, trash dumpsters, and dumpster removal. You should anticipate an additional 5% of direct costs under normal conditions, excluding permits, tap fees, hook-up fees, and construction utilities.
